SACKO Suite DNS Upgraded

We are pleased to announce that the SACKO Suite DNS service has been upgraded.

Previously we were using a cluster of DNS servers located in different data centres in Sydney, Melbourne and Los Angles.

We have now upgraded the SACKO Suite DNS to use a network of worldwide DNS servers using Anycast technology so you will be directed to the closest DNS server.

For example, if you are in Sydney you will be directed to our Sydney DNS server but if you are in London you would be directed to our London DNS server.

This should help the SACKO Suite DNS servers load quicker for you no matter where you are located in the world.

The update also brings better redundancy and provides rapid updates to any DNS changes that are made.

SACKO Suite 0.7.5 Released

We are pleased to announce the latest update to the SACKO Suite application.

 

This update fixes the following issues:

  • Fixed the product description formatting error when exporting to a PDF
  • Also fixed the product description error from changing the inventory description to say: Income from any normal business activity when editing an invoice or quote
  • Fixed the issue with the account edit and delete icons not appearing in the list of accounts page
  • Fixed the bugs on the Account Statement page which was causing no information to appear
  • Fixed the bug where sorting by character for a list of accounts wasn’t working on the take payment page
  • We also fixed the issue where the inventory sell price field was entered and it would change after the buy price field was entered

 

And brings the following new features:

  • The major new feature is the Client Portal which now allows you to create logins for accounts so they can login through a special link and access copies of their Quotes and Invoices etc. In future releases the capabilities of the Client Portal will be expanded into a full-fledged self service area for your customers.
  • Improves the PDF quote/invoice generation speed and also adds the new feature to automatically select a PDF template if only one template exists.
  • Added a new field to the CRM records so the invoice, quote, sales order and purchase order numbers appear on the view records page.
  • You can now generate a payment receipt for your customers so they can receive a receipt for invoices they have paid.
  • Now when applying payments, you can select how the payment was received
  • We have added new tax fields to support future features on the settings tax and currency page
  • Redesign of the Inventory item area to better support accounting features in the application

Scheduled Outage on the cPanel Website Hosting Server. – Friday 24th June – 10:00 PM AEST

This is a courtesy notification to advise you of an outage that will be impacting our cPanel Website Hosting Server.

Description of work:

During the above window, we have scheduled a network outage that will impact all services inside our Sydney Equinix SY3 data centre.  During the scheduled outage, services will be unavailable as our network engineers will be on site to restore connectivity to our new Sydney network.

We estimate that services will be unavailable for approximately 1 to 2 hours.

Scheduled Maintenance Build on the SACKO Business Email Application – Thursday 26th of May – 11:00 AM AEST

SACKO is constantly improving and maintaining our products in order to provide our

Improvements and Impact:
– Pop-up reminders for calendar events not always appearing
This fixes a bug in which users who had set up both email and pop-up reminders for a
recurring calendar event were not seeing the pop-up reminders in certain
circumstances.

SACKO Suite 0.7.4 Released

We are pleased to announce the latest update to the SACKO Suite application.

 

This update fixes the following issues:

  • Fixed some small issues with SMS replies.
  • Fixed the issues with only the first page of the more information tab in the accounts CRM area loading.
  • Fixed the Add Bank Account button colour in Settings Chart of Accounts area as wasn’t matching the look of all the other buttons in the application.
  • Fixed alignment issues in the Take Payment page so it was more user friendly.

And brings the following new features:

  • Updated the SMS reply template to display the reply text in an easier format with more detailed information.
  • Now when sending an SMS directly from the contacts area of the CRM module it will prefill the contacts mobile number.
  • We have added a new payment gateway feature so that credit cards and direct debit bank details can be stored for an account. Currently we support Bpoint from the Commonwealth Bank and also ezidebit from Global Payments.
  • In the Accounting module you can now delete payments that have been applied in the Take Payments area.
  • Added new SMS reports feature to the Reports module so that incoming, received and scheduled SMSs can be displays as a report and filter the information by various date ranges.
  • The API has been updated now to support the CRM module so that leads, contacts, accounts, quotes, sales orders, invoices, inventory, purchase orders and supplier details can be viewed, edited and deleted using the API.

SACKO Suite 0.7.3 Released

We are pleased to announce the latest update to the SACKO Suite application.

This update fixes the following issues:

  • Removed the inactive finance module from the application
  • Fixed formatting issues in description and terms & condition fields in the CRM modules

And brings the following new features:

  • New chart of accounts feature added to the new Accounting module
  • New Take Payments module so payments can be applied against invoices for customer accounts
  • Updated Invoice PDF template layout to support the new accounting module take payments feature
  • Added new tax options for future releases to the Tax and Currency page in the Settings area
  • New account statement feature added in the Accounting module so we can generate a PDF statement for a customer’s account showing all current invoices due and the current accounts balance
  • New stock management feature so inventory items now show a quantity field and track changes in stock levels when invoices or purchase orders are generated
  • New Bills feature so that we can enter bills that are received
  • New accounting features for the inventory area in the CRM module

SACKO Suite 0.7.2 Released

We are pleased to announce the latest update to the SACKO Suite application.

This update fixes the following issues:

  • Fixed sending errors in the SMS module
  • Fixed issue of new users being assigned the incorrect time zone
  • Formatting of confirmation message in Inventory CRM Module was fixed
  • Fixed issue in the documents module with file extension names being edited causing files to not open
  • Incorrect menu name on the settings version history page fixed
  • Fixed issue of roles not displaying for documents when editing the file
  • Changed the menu main from automatically opening on mobile devices when viewing certain pages
  • Fixed page navigation page when viewing the list of users in the application

  • Added new audit trail feature in the application to better track user logins and also user activity history.

SACKO Suite 0.7.1 Released

We are pleased to announce the latest update to the SACKO Suite application.

This update fixes the following issues:

  • Fixed SQL Syntax error when clicking on the Account – More Information Contact Option
  • Fixed bug in the Intranet Documents area when deleting a folder or file on second page
  • Error when submitting News Item – user_notified doesn’t have a default value
  • Fixed bug with the default branding not working correctly on new account creation
  • MySQL error when creating a folder with ‘ in the name – Documents Module
  • Fixed Field Size in Log Support Ticket and Single SMS pages
  • Fixed bug in the Inventory Services Listing area with only a small number of inventory items appearing on first page.
