Unplanned Outages – 09 Aug to 10 Aug 2016 – RESOLVED

SACKO experienced intermittent issues with our LNS platform that terminates customer connections during 09/08/16 and 10/08/16.

At certain times, it only allowed limited users online based on first in first served. At first the fault appeared isolated to a geographic location, so a MSD was lodged with upstream carriers. After further drops and more investigation, the issue appeared more widespread. We engaged our direct upstream supplier to help investigate why sessions were not coming online between theirs and our system. We eventually found a suspected faulty chip in a router, and have since migrated services to backup termination routers.

We now have the routers at a state that all services are online. We will be pulling the faulty equipment out for further investigation in due time.

We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused you and your customers. We will be reviewing the fault, and our failover procedures to try minimise downtime in future.

Rescheduled Outage on the cPanel Website Hosting Server. – Friday 1st July – 9:00 PM AEST

This is a courtesy notification to advise you of an outage that will be impacting our cPanel Website Hosting Server.

Maintenance Start Date & Time (AEST): Friday, 1st of July 2016, 9 PM

Maintenance End Date & Time (AEST): Monday, 4th of July 2016, 1:00 AM

Impact: Major Impact

Description of work:

Due to an incident with power allocation for our new racks in the Sydney data centre, we have rescheduled the relocation for our infrastructure to the 1st of July to the 4th of July. Due to the rescheduling of this weeks project, all services have remained online and there will be no disruption to our Sydney network or services.

A new notification will be sent out detailing the new scheduled relocation details shortly.

Unscheduled Outage – Friday 20th of May 2016 – 7:30 AM AEST

SACKO is currently experiencing session flaps due to an upstream provider error. 3 full session drops have occurred since approximately 7:30am AEST. Services have been self-restoring after each session drop thus far.

Upstream engineers are on-site to investigate their equipment, and once further updates are made available to us we will let you know.

 

 

Scheduled Maintenance Build on the SACKO Business Email Application – Tuesday 12th of April – 11:00 AM AEST

SACKO is constantly improving and maintaining our products in order to provide our customers with world-class services. In order to do so. we will be performing a maintenance build. This build consists of extensive updates to our ‘Archive Services’ feature, including changes to backend infrastructure to improve efficiency and performance, and an improved user interface.

Scheduled Maintenance Build on the SACKO Business Email Application – Thursday 3rd of March – 1:00PM AEDT

SACKO will be performing a maintenance build on  the SACKO Business Email Application. This release will address numerous issues and tasks including some customer requested items.

 

Maintenance Details:

This build will implement the following changes to ‘lite mode’:

– Fix for an issue in which preferences were not shown properly

– Improved support for security questions

– Fix for an error message that some users saw in Chrome when composing an email

– Fix for attaching a file to a message being composed

Improvements:

– Back-end architecture improvements to improve memory management, and reduce the load on the application servers.

– A bugfix for SACKO Calendar which caused a problem for some users when setting events to “Private”

– A bugfix in the “Remove All Aliases” process in Enterprise Manager domain management tools.

Business Email Update – 27th of August 2015

SACKO is constantly improving our products and adding new features in order to provide our customers with world-class services. SACKO is proud to offer some great new features to make the user experience better. Some features have already been implemented while others will be available within the next few weeks.

Updates include:

  • When you cancel a user, it will let you know if the user appears on any of your mailing lists
  • Easily delete users from mailing lists
  • Can now click on “view Divisions” and modify the top-level division in order to update default aliases for newly created users
  • Increased amount of additional storage you can purchase for an email account
  • Ability to assign multiple managers to a division
  • When viewing a user’s profile, you can now see what sendable mailing lists that user is a part of along with their email aliases
  • In Extranet under Edit Reseller, you can configure a reminder email for all users alerting them to change their password before it expires. You can also manage this per enterprise through Enterprise Manager -> Settings -> Edit Security Settings
  • Preservation of the full name and email address when in Sent- Mail folder view
  • Improvements to email search
  • Ability to right-click a message to forward as an attachment from context menu
  • Mark messages as low, medium, or high importance
  • When adding a new contact, can add the email address to your Junk Mail Safe List
  • Workflow improvements and bug fixes in Extranet
  • When creating users in Extranet, you can select the default user profile for an enterprise

Scheduled SACKO Suite Hardware Maintenance – Tuesday 25th of November – 11PM AEDT

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensure all of our servers are operating and maintained to the highest of performance levels, SACKO will be performing maintenance on the SACKO Suite server.

Maintenance Details:

SACKO will be re-patching several switches within our Vocus data centre.  This work is considered critically important and will ensure ongoing reliability. We apologise for any inconvenience this maintenance may cause. There may be a few brief outages lasting less than 2 minutes each while this maintenance is performed.

Users may experience brief application slowness during the maintenance window. There is no expected service outage during this maintenance, and SACKO will be monitoring all systems throughout the duration of this scheduled maintenance.
